Angela Shepard, MD, MPH 

Angela Shepard joined NERGG as Executive Director on July 1, 2025. Dr.  Shepard received her MD from the University of Maryland School of Medicine.  She completed a Preventive Medicine Residency at UMass Medical School and received her Master of Public Health degree from UMass Amherst. Dr. Shepard has been a valued member of several medical and public health related boards and committees.  She has an impressive history of professional and volunteer service in New Hampshire. Most recently Dr. Shepard worked as the Director of the New England Regional Genetics Network (NERGN) until federal funding was discontinued.
